Overview
We are opening the search for a role that will have outsized impact on our company Parable: we are hiring our first Research Assistant to join our strategic sales team and help transform how we identify and engage with potential partners.
This person will support the development of our insights engine, which will help identify companies that are ready to engage in AI transformation, so we can prioritize targets for highly focused business development efforts. You'll work at the intersection of market research, business analysis, and strategic sales.

This role is for someone who:

You will be responsible for:
- Conducting comprehensive research to build and maintain a strategic target list of companies that match our ideal customer profile ($250M-$2B revenue, 1,000-10,000 employees)
- Developing and implementing research methodologies to identify companies going through critical inflection points
- Creating detailed profiles of target organizations, analysizing their business context, challenges, and readiness for transformation, and including estimations of payroll costs
- Sourcing and verifying contact information for key executives (CEO, CFO, etc.) within target companies
- Partnering with our sales team to continuously refine our targeting criteria based on market feedback and success patterns
- Building and maintaining our database of key executive contacts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data privacy requirements
